About
Hi, I'm Shelby.
I’ve spent more than ten years in dental offices. I started chairside as a dental assistant, then moved into billing, collections, and office management, and today I manage the full insurance revenue cycle for multiple practices remotely. I know what a busy front desk looks like, and I know how much revenue can slip away in unpaid claims and aging reports.
My specialty is the hard stuff: insurance AR, denials and appeals, coordination of benefits, and complex oral surgery billing, including anesthesia documentation and payer attachments. I’ve worked in Open Dental, WinOMS, DSN/OMS-Exec, Sensei, Availity, and most major payer portals, so I can step into your workflow without a learning curve.
I started White Mountain Billing to give practices a dedicated, detail-obsessed biller who treats their revenue like it’s my own, and who communicates clearly every step of the way.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of practices do you work with?
Right now I focus on dental practices, including general dentistry and oral surgery. Support for medical practices is coming soon.
Do you sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?
Yes. I sign a BAA with every client before I access any patient information, as HIPAA requires.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is flexible. Depending on what your practice needs, it’s either a percentage of collections or a flat monthly rate. You’ll get a custom quote after a free practice review.
How does onboarding work?
We start with a free practice review. Then we sign a BAA and a service agreement, we set up secure access to your practice management software and payer portals, and I start working your AR.
Do I need to change software?
No. I work in the systems you already use, so there’s nothing new for your team to learn or buy.
Can you work remotely or with practices out of state?
Yes. I work fully remotely and can support practices nationwide.
How will I know what’s happening with my billing?
You’ll get regular, easy-to-read reports on claims, collections, and outstanding balances, plus clear communication whenever something needs your attention.

Please don't send patient information (names, dates of birth, insurance IDs, or other health details) by regular email or through this website. Once we're working together, I'll set up a secure way to share it.
